the very first book swap event is happening in Delhi next weekend!
Dear readers,
I am travelling this month so I thought of taking the leap and organize an event in the city of my adulting years i.e. Delhi. The venue is an art cafe and is located in probably one of the most aesthetic places in Delhi. You can sit back and paint on a canvas after the event or sip on coffee with your new book and probably some new reader friends :)
The process is simple:
Step 1: Bring a book
You’re required to bring a book you’ve read before and would genuinely recommend to others.
Step 2: Pitch the book
Pitch your book to explain why someone else should read it.
Step 3: Exchange the book
The books are then placed in a pile out of which you can select any book depending on the token number you get after a lucky draw.

Timings: 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
Venue: The Palette Cafe, Dhan Mills, Chattarpur, New Delhi
Registrations are limited. With registration you get a ₹ 300 voucher redeemable at the cafe for any item on the menu. We want to keep it an intimate experience hence registrations are limited.
I know a lot of people are apprehensive of attending such events because they think they don't read enough or know much about books in general, if you also feel so that should be your first cue to attend the event and get out of your comfort zone.
Even if you are not an avid reader, you get a chance to listen to new perspectives which is a treat in itself.
