Excited to share the third edition of The Hummingbird event - a Book Swap in Mumbai.
Sharing recommendations online is promising but it is more rewarding to meet you in person and share our love for books & reading. This event is in collaboration with The Urban Platter Store, a gourmet store. They have recently launched their second store in Dadar with a cute and cozy cafe.
The process is simple:
Step 1: Bring a book You’re required to bring a book you’ve read before and would genuinely recommend to others. Step 2: Pitch the book Pitch your book to explain why someone else should read it. Step 3: Exchange the book The books are then placed in a pile out of which you can select any book depending on the token number you get after a lucky draw. Join the book exchange party on Saturday, November 19 Timings: 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Venue: Urban Platter, a gourmet store with a cute little cafe in Dadar Registrations are limited. We like to keep it intimate to enforce maximum interaction and more chatter :D
